Should I ever hope for him having a flush draw?
I feel I assume they might have it too oftenm and this was a reraised pot. he must have called with AK or the like |

always bet this turn strong i dont know what you're doing, the range of hands hes on clearly contains draws here the vast vast majority of the time
like the strongest hands in his range are like 9T but still wouldnt mind improving to that straight, or 67 or 8T ot even JT and a million diamond draws, so charge him for the draw like 0.80 on turn, and if he gets there on the river and wants to pay you another bet then gravy but you still can get full value on his draw.
shove river when you do it this way, thats the whole point, when you have this strong of a hand you have to allow yourself a scenario in which you stack him off and by doing it the way you're doing you dont. and thats just really losing truckloads of value |

Bet turn harder for value. I get your reasoning for giving him odds to chase drawing dead but...
1. Fact of the matter is he will miss a ton on the river, and then just fold, leaving you with no more value then that 20c you bet on the turn.
2. He's probably not going to fold if you make a potsized bet anyway.
3. When that diamond comes on the river, you HAVE to shove, overbet, or something. Your river and turn bet totaled 84c, but you could have just bet the turn that much and he would have called anyway with a draw. PLUS you could have stacked a 9 easily. |

Thanks guys. I too often assume one narrow scenario and act to it, he could have called a standard raise with asll sorts of hands here .
I put him on a flush draw, and I wanted to give him the odds to call me.
Then I simply hoped I am being checkraised and that he would reraise if I act weak TT |
