That was a fine play with that many people in the pot at those limits, just unlucky none of them picked up anything. A check would have been fine also although risky if someone is on a flush draw you don't want to give them a free card, so your play was fine, just nobody else flopped anything.
Yeah, you should reraise preflop to make it headsup (when they are loose players - they play many nonpremium hands) or call as you did.
Play on flop was good imho.
