edzwoo   United States. Mar 17 2009 02:02. Posts 5911 Call raise and get it in on safe turn because your hand does surprisingly poor vs his range. Shave off some of his equity on a blank before getting it in. If he's a huge nit though, you might be able to just fold flop.

So even if he has a pair of threes and an 8 kicker with a spade, getting it all in on the flop is just a coin flip for you. If he has ANY spade no pair, you're only 66%. The monotone board really destroys your equity, so you can't get it in right now because the board just sucks too much. If a blank comes, your equity dramatically increases.
