So this guy limps and flop is T94 and the only set i can give a limper credit for is 4's but when it pairs the turn.... i am doomed to go broke no? |

Definitely flat call the river, that 2 didnt help him and his pathetic bet can only be a horrible missed draw bluff which you wont get any additional value out of or its a set/trips. A lower overpair seems unlikely since he limped, only hand that raising the river really extracts more value from is 910 or A10 I think, but it seems too wierd for him to have that after check/calling flop and turn. |

Its the other way around, 50nl is notorious for tightpassive players and check/calling with the nuts is very common for that type of player. This is a polarized situation where his line fits either a draw or a slowplay in my opinion. TPTK or a lower overpair is aggressive on the flop or the turn and theres no reason to raise a missed draw. Its a classic line where the nuts waits till the river to show aggression because they think you have to "catch up" to them and they are afraid of not getting paid off while they are too stupid to realize they can get outdrawn.
He could be "blocking" with a weak hand but what hand would do that? J10 or Q10 perhaps but A10 would be aggressive for sure.
