What?
.30 flop
.90 turn
good amount on river, too lazy to add what the pot would be
Why on earth would you EVER check that turn, then FLAT the K? |

I never play it like this. In fact, I am known for overplaying TPTK with AK. I dare you to find a hand with AK when I hit where all streets are not raised, I dare you.
+ Show Spoiler +
But something was wrong with this hand, villain was 2.5 aggro and I had a note on him that he plays any small pair and has the usual 90% fold to cbet on NL5.
Add My hyperaggresive image and tight range and this weird gut feeling and you got one of my best plays ever

And btw... Do I really want to change the amount I bet on flop? I play around 82% ++ C/bet in position and however stupid the people are against regs it would be a huge tell imo as I do it sooo often.
Or should I just C/bet and bet closer to the pot? |

ever think about all the value that you lose vs. Ax, draws, and worse hands, which comprise a WAY BIGGER part of his range? so you didn't lose 5 dollars in this hand congrats. but you'd generally win more than enough to make it up by playing this more aggressively. it's important to not let a single result change your idea of what is or isn't a profitable play.

and i'm not really sure if having a high Cbet% will be too effective at NL5. as in all things poker, adjust to your opponents accordingly i guess. if they limp/call c/f a ton of flops and play hit or miss poker, then yeah cbets are hugely profitable. but if you find that ppl are calling you down lighter, you really should observe this and adjust your cbetting frequency as well as multiple barrels. see if you can find out how likely they are to take a hand to a river, whether it be draws or mid pair type hands, and let your double barreling accompany your Cbets accordingly.
i guess my point is, you really should think about adjusting to your opponents at all times. |

1) I look at number of limpers PF. My maximum is 3 Suitable candidates, prefferably with high VP and low Call PFR stat.
2) I look at their range to have an idea of flops they are likely to hit
3) I look at Fold to C/bet of all limpers.
I want to add a donk bet stat later to know if the 4+Aggro players may be trapping me in the future.
But still the question stands... Should I adjust the amount I bet on flop (Regardless if I am c/betting or if I hit)?
