Always have a goal in mind when you act.

For instance, what was your goal on the turn? You basically min-raised an already-small bet. Are you trying to fold out 88-JJ? If so, your raise needs to be way bigger. If you're trying to protect your hand against Asx, I'd advice against because your hand is so weak; you should be entering survival mode here, and try to see a cheap showdown. In general, there are so many draws on the board, that a raise that weak really does nothing but bloat the pot, or turn a marginally playable hand into a bluff.

The river is just...? Are you trying to get value out of AK here? Or are you still trying to bluff out < Qx?

hey good points. i basically assumed he missed and wanted him to think i checked behind for the free flush draw. apart from the flush draw the board looks kind of dry so i want to push out the weak pairs that hope for cheap showdown.

i wasn't protecting but turning my hand into a bluff (i dont think it beats much on the turn). in retrospect i think the river bet is bad as u said, but im just trying to push out stationy players who call a raise with a hand (that small bet is usually a PP < Q)

so yeah raise turn bigger, check river

thanks for ur comments
