Posts 3096 I dont like betting the river seems obvious he's on a draw, either straight or flush straight wouldve missed in which case betting makes him fold and checking can induce bluff which you can call vs flush you're always up against a higher flush in which case you lose more through betting than through check calling only hand that calls your riverbet is set or 2 pair or straight. all hands are very unlikely for him to have as he should have reraised your earlier raises with any of them / 45 is just unlikely cause you have it too so basically betting river doesnt win you any more money if you have him beat and it makes you lose more money if you don't imo lol POKER
