Hows it retarded if people call with overcards?
I'd rather hear about why then just what you would do. Who's gonna bluff at you if you checkraise or give you action with something you beaT?
I think checkraising probably makes playing later streets easier and gets an extra bet out from the cbet of pf raiser w/overs. But what else?

Its such a transparent move. Why bet into the pf agressor? Id raise that any day with anything. If he doesnt see this hes stupid enough to call c/r

Yeah right, checkraising the pf raiser with a pair like that is the standard play, especially from the blinds. Its a good move but I dont think its vastly superior to frontbetting. Im more concerned with the turn/river really.
I dont think nitpicking over checkraising vs frontbet is really the issue since those can be interpreted so many different ways. Some players interpret a checkraise as great strength and some dont even realize its a checkraise.
Also wouldnt I WANT you to raise me with air when I have the best hand rather than check raising and saying "Hey I like my hand, fold".
