Yes. You lose value by not betting and obviously you gave him a free card to the flush. Also once you check turn it is harder for you to bet river OOP as it is a scare card for him too and you just told him it scared you - makes him able to hand read better (obv at NL5 usually not an issue but you get the point).
If he'd have bet 3/4 pot on turn would you have folded? Probably is my guess and he can represent that K so easily once you check. |
