even though you stacked him you played this badly

bet the flop and turn yourself, this way it doesnt check through and you get the value out of the flush draws.

if he had missed his flush you would have got no value at all here, while by betting flop+turn you can extract 2 streets of value from flush draws and weaker hands at this level while building a pot to make it easier to get allin on river!
