So Prima started with some deep tables and naturally I had to try them. Haven't played much the last few days since I'm studying a lot but I haven't seen this guy around before so I assume he's new to the site. Thus no history. After maybe 5 hands on 2 tables, mostly 3 handed, he's been rather calm and TAGish I guess. Haven't made it blatantly obvious that he can't play just yet in any case. The general feeling is that he's rather decent. Maybe not super good, but not retarded in any way.
On to the hand. On the flop I cbet my flush draw which I do maybe 85% of the time or something. Turn is a great card for me since I feel that the only "real" hand he should have with any regularity that beats me is KJ, and sometimes maybe some Kxs that just made two pairs. Not sure if he'll raise/call those 100% though. However, I assume that he won't raise/fold made hands here very often at all since that just would be horrid. Given that I think that both a fold and a raise here is really bad without history. On the river I felt that all his value hands beats me but on the other hand only one of the draws got there and his bluffing frequency should be somewhat high considering that I might be on some bad pair+draw, a pure draw etc very often and seldom/never have top2 or better. However, whenever I'm calling off 80bb or so on the river with TPnK and feels that it's rather standard I'd like a check up. This hand can't really be played any other way then a call on the river, right?
I agree that I need to make up my mind on the turn, though. |
