seems like a pretty ridiculous fold
i mean he doesnt have to have JJ/QQ/AA/AK here..

CirCa   Canada. Sep 03 2006 07:10. Posts 1249

he is like 14/3 on ptracker. EXTREMELY tight. those are the only hands he will have.
i immediately put him most likely on QQ after he flatcalled preflop.

No I think he had AK and you made a horrible mistake by not betting on the flop.

CirCa   Canada. Sep 03 2006 07:38. Posts 1249

that is a possiblilty, but i went with my pf read.
edit: and AK is the only hand i am likely beating on the flop against this opponent. i think betting the flop is just throwing away chips.

you only have to win like 1/5 of the time to call that river

i'm winning much less than that.
probably less than a percent against this guy.

Regardless you still have to bet the flop.

i know i will almost always bet this flop, but in this situation (one of worst possible flops for KK) i don't think it is a good play against this opponent.

if you can confidently put an opponent on a hand that beats you do you always still bet the flop?
