i dont understand why you went all in as it was. He had the better hand at your all in point so i dont think that's a bad beat. You winning with that straight would have been a bad beat.

i know this wasnt bad beat...its only honest beat i took in the sngs i have been playing, but still, how frustrating IS THIS?!?!? i was trying to steal here, i had played tight all game, and they had folded blinds before. didnt think i'd get called down, let alone with an A6, not to mention then flop straight, and lose with it

well what i've found to work in sngs is that when you're a pretty small stack, just play extremely tight, dont try to steal and just wait for hands that you know are worthy of an all-in. Cause while you're waiting for the right hand people are bound to get a little wild, and then you dont even have to worry about as many players

plus when you're small stacked people are going to be more likely to call you because they have the chips to do it. I know it's a third of their stack but, at the lower levels people don't exactly care as much
