Bet sizing is terrible, with a $1.10 pot on the flop you can easily pot pot shove. Mostly needs to be more on the turn, and a bit more on the flop helps a ton especially if you already know he's a station. |

didn't know he was a station prior to this, but why bet more to fold out the guy if he's going to draw like this? if he's going to call me down with that hand at those odds i'd rather just keep him in... nl10 ppl call 2/3-3/4 pot a lot more than pot size bets and I had way the better hand until river... |

This hand should be at the weakest end of his range to call more than one street, but even with this hand who knows how much more often he'd fold for another $.30 on the turn. It's true that you want to keep weak hands like this in his range, but your bet sizing on the flop and turn is so close to letting you shove the river that it's criminal to just let the pot slip below the threshold.
The biggest issue is the small river bet imo. Against random 7s, random Js, weird draws like this you want to be able to get as much money as possible because sometimes he will suck out. When you take a line like this, you'll be putting more money in against him when he sucks out and raises you than when you win. You're lucky he only minraised you, because you're calling a shove here. I think it's best to just plan on shoving the river yourself by the time it gets there. |
