A previous hand he went allin for 72 in 8 and i snapped and he showed a gutshot. He also seemed to like bluffing when not faced with a c-bet. Should I always c/c when faced with these villains and I have a hand?

Is it safe to use his flop tendencies as an assurance that he will 3 barrel? It felt right, but I've actually never been in a spot like this with this type of villain, and I'm currently struggling with making desitions based on actions that happen in other hands and on other streets/boards.
