Okay, I only have 32 hands of history with the villian and he is running a 21/18. I haven't really seen him spashing around much and hasn't showed down anything that I remeber. He is stealing 38% of the time so, not really out of line as far as that goes. So he raises small on the button and that confuses me so I do what I always do when I am confused and I just call.
Now, I am not sure what to do on the flop. I guess I am usually best here so I check hoping to induce a bet.
He snap bets close to pot. OK......I am still unsure what to make of this but I feel I can't let go quite yet so I call.
the turn comes and I check. He snap bets close to pot. Here I am hating life. I didn't think about my decision long and called. Lately I have been thinking that I should fold in these spots as I think this type of opponent would slow down here if he has nothing or marginal hand....but I call.
The river comes with the best or maybe worst card in the deck.
what would you do here?
