That would be true if he had Jx, but he doesn't. He is the one drawing, and he has 10 outs (including the queens that you are trying to count as your own outs). Against his 7 straight outs you have a 7 out redraw to your own straight and against his pair outs you have a 3 out redraw. Your equity edge is large because you win when the board bricks out, not just because you have outs. |
