only thing i can think of doing is shoving turn rather than river.

or just shoving flop? 1st day at nl50 is a bad one

I think you need to be 3 betting bigger - especially OOP and so deep. He is going to call with a lot of speculative hands that deep. I have him as a pretty standard TAG on the nitty side 19/16 but can take some aggressive lines and doesn't like to fold to 3bets (36%). I think leading trun makes your life easier here but it's a shitty spot OOP. Maybe worth posting for better advice.
