stacking off here seems really bad to me, but i don't know, is villain a complete donk?
or you two had some kind of dynamic?
id still feel pretty bad about this since AK/KQ can very well be in his 3b calling range in position

yea and because you limp/3bet your hand is pretty much faced up(unless you balance this with trash)
then he can pretty much play perfectly in position against you

Well you let them commit less of a mistake by making it so small + you want to inflate pot preflop + you generate more FE when you do this with weak hands to balance.

I don't really see what difference does it make, last time I checked the odds and rules are the same at NL2 and NL2k

because all the things you think are good/bad at the limits you play isn't necessarily the same higher

this seems like a dumb argument thread.

U limp/3bet as a plan to iso KabouterFlop who assumidly was a lagtard fish. It failed and u l/3bet a taggish guy. Meh plan seems OK given specific reads and such going on at the table. That being said once u limp raise I agree w/ exhilarate that ur hand is semi-face up. I think the only mistake here (assuming CylusBallin is a normal player or reg) is the flop call. He would need to be doing this with complete air to make it a profitable call. QQ+ 4bets, pocketpairs will call cbet given that they have position. AK/KQ/KJ will be like omg I have trips and there's a flush out there I shove cuz it looks retarted. So unless CylusBallin is a spaz this is a flop fold imo.

to lemon[5thf] and dogmeat wtf are you guys fucking thinking that 3bet to 30 is small in a fucking 1/2 game 140bb deep. The 3bet size is fucking fine.

"Well you let them commit less of a mistake by making it so small + you want to inflate pot preflop + you generate more FE when you do this with weak hands to balance."

1. It's a 3bet pot, they will fuck up post and the pot is already freaking huge

2. The idea behind inflating preflop is to avoid being outplayed post by lowering effective stack sizes while OOP making it harder for them to make moves. We have AA in a 3bet pot, we are getting it in on at least 95% of flops and they arn't going to make a move at us like ever, it's 200nl.

3. He limp/3bet UTG, this is not his normal game at all therefore he does not need to worry about balancing this play w/ weak hands. It's a unique hand play that he will not do again unless very specific circumstances arise in which case fuck it what are the odds we are on the exact same table w/ the same ppl.

dont tap the glass...im about ready to take a fucking hammer to the aquarium

Lemon i think you are better off giving people advice at the low stakes forum, i'm sure they can learn something from you. And what's up with the balancing, you actually have a limp/raise range?

As played i'm not folding the aces on the flop.
Only time I tend to limp/raise is when i misclick call UTG, and then squeesh a raiser + caller.

In a normal situation vs a random easy bet/fold on flop.
