I was going to say something about the flop but then I saw that you typed that in the hh. Nice that you post it, makes it easier to remember that you should raise that flop next time. Why didnt you raise flop? Id like your thought even if its flawed, since i might have the same thinking aswell in some spots similar to this one. |

actually I only think my flop play is wrong. I have reads that makes my turn play ok/good, and river I didnt see much value in betting (and kenosa could do something stupid so I had to fold). However I put davista on a set but I couldnt valuebet still.. it was too risky..
why I didnt raise flop was because kenosa C/C EVERY flop, so if I call he would 100% guaranteed C/C (even if he had KTo!) that would make the pot really big to the turn, if kenosa then would have hit a pair (say he hit his "K" on the turn, he would pot it (and I mean litterary) every time (!), davista would either call or raise, I would shove and kenosa could call so I would have gotten both of the players stacks.
Even if the turn was a blank, (say a 2-4, A-Q) I would not only get it in versus davista every time, I could get a lot of value from kenosa too.
I normally raise here, but this was such a unique opportunity to have a 3-4k pot (on NL400!), where I can get it in good most of the time even if I only have like the third nuts. |
