it's too small, don't give your opponents that good odds to play perfectly against you when you're making your hand range very transparent.

the beginners advice is reraising 4x pf but i think anywhere between 7 and 9 is fine

3x is standard as far as i know..
if you reraise more hands to 6 it wont be transparent and you probably keep in dominated hands or something

i personally like to re-raise a bit more than 3x

4x is too big imo.

for me usually
if someone raises 4x i 3x it
if they r 3x i make it 10bb
minraise i make it 8bb + 2bb per caller of initial minraise

if your trying to get out 'set farmers' then the '4x or 3x' is irrelevant. if he has a huge stack you would need to raise more, short stack less. on 50nl if he has 50$ and you have 50$ you need to reraise him so he has to call at least 5$ more

in this situation relative stacks are 50$, so 7-8 would definately be +ev
