You played this backwards :-)! I would have raised slightly bigger on the flop. There is a 2 flush out there and reraising only $2 more is giving him the proper odds to catch if he does have a flush draw. You want your opponent to be making a mistake when he calls you, therefore putting in atleast a raise of $3.50 - $4.50 would do well. Plus with an ace on board over your set of jacks, it's far more likely to get action and get called down. When he calls your raise on the flop, I don't understand how you are going to check to him on the turn. Again, if he had a flush draw, your giving him a freecard. Then the flush card hits on the river and you move all-in without fearing it? I just don't get it... I woulda laughed if the guy showed you KQ suited in spades, or some hand like that. If your going to make a big push like that, do it on the turn when the 9 comes...
