On this one, August was sweating me and we strongly disagreed.
We both thought c-betting the flop was fine, but he wanted to shut down on the turn, but I wanted to fire one more barrel. August stated that were weren't going to fold out anything better and we were ahead of some hands.
But here was my thinking. This player is super bad in every way, I really put a huge part of his range as any 2 broadway and Ax type hands along with small pairs.
Now I am beating his broadway junk kind of hands but losing to to Ax hands and small pairs. Now, I beleive that this player will call on flops with junk when he should be check raising and folding too much on the turn when he should be calling, I really thought I could fold out 22,44,55,66 and random aces here, BECAUSE he is so bad. If he were any good at all I would have shut down on the turn.
And my hand has a smidge of value from the overcards.
My logic might be flawed here........ |
