seraphim is pretty wild preflop 3betting and opening a ton haven't seen much of anything from him post flop tho
i've 3bet him a couple of times and I think he might be getting the feeling of being pooped on a little bit
anyway on flop I strongly strongly thought I should check but then I Was like WTF build a pot
is check better? |

like you can check back whatever random hand you have and he gives the other two guys a free turn by checking? huh?
checking a strong hand back here can rarely be good? if he was first to act then maayybbee but
checking back with just one left to act i can't view his check raise as anything other than like 56ss or something. but even so, every nut hand on that flop can potentially get screwed with two more cards to come. |

yah I had a strong thought when I was deciding to bet or not that if he c/r's I should 3bet/call
but then he did c/r and I was like "ehhhh... odds aren't bad at all for a call IP" ? |

i think for 170 its good to go indeed for war ..and raise him 120 and call allin.
vs overpair u are ahead 55-45
against 45 u are 42-58
against 2 pair same 42-48
vs set 32-67 |

don't you lose value when the flop checks through with only one player behind and you're playing against 3 players and an A,5,6, or any spade could potentially roll off on the turn? |

of course fayth is awesome but i can't help but think that there are lots of better spots to trap with a set on a drawy board than here, second to last to act with two shortstacked fish in the pot....
i mean if the table was full of fullstacked regulars.. a scarecard wouldn't be as bad cuz we'd have implied odds, but i don't know.. this spot feels really icky for a slowplay |

I agree. I think he has a worse FD and overs more than he has a set. |

bet flop is pointless. you'll get tons of money from AX and spades when you hit anyway and if you check you'll save money when you miss
on a flop of like JJ2 betting would be a lot better since you actually have a chance to win the pot on the flop, but here i think your flop bet has pretty much 0 fold equity despite the action in front. i also don't find people check/calling once and then check/folding out on boards like this so you aren't just value bluffing by betting the flop here either |
