I wasn't sure if I should shove turn but I chose to call because I figure he is either bluffing or he has 2p or a set, both of which are basically drawing dead and will bet/call river anyway

against a decently aggro opponent i think it was played fine. you simply got coolered to oblivion.
if you wanted to c/c c/r turn, you can take this line with flopped sets and a small % of your midpair hands turned into bluffs, but i've never calculated something like this but i assume it wouldn't be too hard to come up with a GTO bluff frequency/betsizing. |
