Did I play this wrong? Std? I figured a turn check for pot control was fine...
His river bet was like 1.25 into 2.30 or something. Anyone know why the hand history isn't correctly calculating the pot size for turn and river anymore? |

if i'm 3 betting AQ and hitting top pair, i'm definitely getting my money in on this board. |
|
The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts. | |

what are you pot controlling against? if you think his 3b calling range is heavily weighted towards AK then dont 3b this preflop. this is an amazing board for a 3b pot with your hand. |

Well I three bet expecting him to fold most of his opening range. When he called pre and checked the flop I assumed I was good to bet my hand for value, but I expected him to fold most hands I was ahead of. When he called I just thought it was a little weird and that if I was ahead there wasn't too much I was by pot controlling turn, and then when he bet river obviously I just called with showdown value.
I assumed villain was decentishhhh...
And yeah in general I'll be betting turn next time.. I just thought his flop line was weird and it kind of slowed me down |

eh i dont like 3betting AQ here just to get him to fold pf. do that with hands that have less value. you can flat AQ pf very profitably instead. hoping just to take it down pf with AQ is wasting the hand. |

your 3 bet is super horrible if your gonna play it this bad on your BEST possible flop |
