Should I have folded this hand preflop?

And on the flop I did suspect that he had a straight, but I just thought it'd be a cooler if he did, and I still had outs to hit a FH, so I shoved. Is this the wrong thought process?

and yup its just a cooler, don't be afraid to do it again and again, it'll be profitable in the long run.

dont fold pre
flop is fine
yeah he may have a straight and you have outs to boat BUTTTTTTT
He can have a flush draw he can have a striaght draw he can ahave 2 pairs he can have ALOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT of things
so yeah go broke here
