Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

I hate it. You absolutely have to call if you donk the turn - he can shove a million draws, and you only called the flop cos you thought he could raise draws to begin with.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

what is a better line then? I hate this spot oop with tptk on a drawy board.

my conclusion is he wont shove over with a draw, so if he raises on the turn he has me beat.

I don't understand your comment. In general he can raise 2pairs and sets, and he can raise draws. If we think there is a good enough chunk of the latter we call, if not we fold - I'm not sure what you mean.

reraise flop and smile hugely. If there is any chance he does this with a jack overvaluing it you life is gravy.

I really don't mind it vs the given player, I'd rather reraise flop.

minraise + 1 bb
i.e.
he clicked the slider once then hit BET

for starters, amongst the most retarded of opponents, this is usually this is a preeeeetty strong hand.

idk, i'd fairly often call flop and c/r turn allin if he was betting much bigger and i felt i was ahead but as played im probably folding flop or calling down. Its difficult b/c you're OOP and have less control over the pot though. I dont mind call call non diamond turn/rivers and c/ring good turns like an Ace and probably a J too.

Typically vs these players im trying to get involved as much as possible so i have 'reads' somewhat by the time i get a hand that help me decide what to do here. Also, just watching how he plays at the table helps tons, even if its just reviewing the HH log.

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN
