I know this guy is a winning reg cuz I PTR'd him. He has seemed pretty aggro over the 30 hands I've played with him today (he's 42/31/21% 3bet 85% AF).
I think he's bluffing a lot on the flop and that I have the best hand and my outs + potential BDFD if I'm wrong anyway. He completed SB after a fish limped button, so am putting him on junky tp's or draws. And a rare set, I doubt he donks these 100% bvb like this..
He snap donked the flop, took a couple seconds to bet turn.
So from the very limited reads I have I think that he can have a draw a lot? Are my basic timing tells off here because they are a big part of the little bit of information I have vs villain
What do you like to do here |

He's definitely iso'ing the fish pre with QQ, JJ, and QJs, so um raise that shit because he can really only have 55 that's better than a pair? I'd call again if he was a fish or less aggro pre. You'll often get it in against dominated draws I think. |

raising here reps exactly nothing and you are getting too good odds to fold so call . |

You can rep every set and top two, and you often get it in against 2 clubs and a straight draw |

raising here is kind of unneccessary

Well, I guess my read is off. Night, do you flat sets and QJ on the flop here against an aggro player? |

if you flat your sets and 2 pairs on that flop I think you should reconsider your game plan |

I might flat if the fish was in the pot but tbh I would probably raise anything better than AQ (come to think of it maybe I should raise AQ..)
I might flat monsters once in this situation though vs this guy who looks like he's just going aggro crazy, it isn't unthinkable but not common that I show up with a monster here.
Usually I would raise the flop tho.
I only have played like 30 hands with this guy and I haven't been in any significant pots since he sat, though.
guess I should explain why I flat here sometimes vs v aggro people
I still expect them to give up on their draws when I raise them unless they have a monster draw, and I get a lot more money in the pot when they 2brls the turn and depending on the turn/river cards I can raise or call down |

ok lets say its good to call with sets there to mix up ur range or whateva, u are still not gonna get credit for having them ever in this spot. |

you make it sound like your opponents know your range perfect and they cant make mistakes |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same | |
