slowplaying is good
i thought hed call me here with jj/qq
he did this pretty donkish play before that made me think hes not that good i thought hed fall for this
i gues he couldve had AA but he called very fast with QQ so im assuming he put me on a bluff and this would call with JJ too |

He was slow playing the flop, if you bet, he woulda raised, easy push + call scenario on flop.
However, by going to the turn, you risked the chance of a scare card which would leave a serious impact on the potential value of this hand. |

i think he might get away from JJ and maybe even QQ if i play flop fast but this obvious "bluff" line gets his stack from those two hands imo
i think he probably wasnt going to checkraise me on flop
hes not really a good player.. kinda tight and makes bad plays sometimes.... he played a flushdraw oop pretty bad vs me about 20 mins befoe this hand |

He reraised pf and then he checks the flop. What can he be doing here except inducing a bluff?
If he is scared you have AA or KK, he would've lead on the flop and folded to a reraise. By checking this flop on a relatively safe board, means he is attemping to checkraise if you make a bet on flop.
Unless he is a complete idiot, I think it's much much +EV by betting the flop.
Imagine a spades or a T or 7 came on the turn. I doubt you'd get him to put his whole stack on the line and I doubt you'd even want to get that far, thus, decreasing your potential value for this hand substantially. |
