villain is 21/13/5% 3b over 98 hands I haven't gotten involved with him much except he made a normal raise on some highcard+rags flop and I folded

pretty sure my image is pretty normal, I haven't gotten into any action post flop except another guy who raised one of my cbets on a random crap flop and I folded. I definitely shouldn't look crayz running at 20/17/3% 3bet over 88 hands (ppl folded to both 3bets)

not sure what we're looking for when we re-eval turn do you have any thoughts?

i don't think there's anything to evaluate here... u just trap and get it in on the turn

and i think he's terrible if he raises 6x or better here without history

opponent dependent...i'm honestly just c/c any turn. Problem I have w/ c/rai is that we arn't scared of any cards, but we arn't having a c/shove getting called by anything worse exept 56. But if we c/c we allow him to barrel off w/ a shit hand. This advice will prob be flamed, but there's no way in hell he's actually stacking off w/ like 78/TPTK/TT. So c/c is by far superior imo.

I think he's playing fine if he raises 6x/99 here w/o history because many opponents now-a-days will spazz out and get it in w/ worse for no reason.

call and check shove is best because we're getting it in on the riv no matter what

might as well get it in on the turn when his range still includes hands like 87 or mb gutters etc etc

mb gutters? Also 78 will not bet turn most often, and if it does it will likely fold to a shove. Also what's your etc etc..there arn't very many hands in his range that will get it in on the turn.

u argue that there's no value in shoving but you forget that we're getting it in here one way or another, period

it's best to protect our hand vs the part of his range that could suck out even if we never get called by those hands. if he betcalls with 87 that's just a plus.

o yes lets protect ourselves vs the hands that have less then 10% against us.

nah it isn't bad to raise monsters here w/o history

I think u can pretty much coinflip between raising or flatting monsters vs a random opponent in his spot

pretty much infinite options, and i'd do some of them all a certain % of time based on what i feel is best. 3b flop, flat lead turn, flat c/c turn c/c riv, or flat c/r turn are all viable

thanks mez I'm glad to hear that the line I took wasn't terrible (I did 3b the flop and call it off vs T6 :/. Didn't expect him to be flatting pre with T6s wtf who does that..?)
