um guys, i got confused with this one and then proceeded to play it horribly...

on flop when he called my raised bet i thought i was beat so i checked turn, he bet strong so i put him on a 7 or an overpair of mine...

heart came out and i tried to use it as a scare card but to no avail...

now i know if the 8 doesnt come out this play might work because he might check turn and i know hes weak, but other than that, any other ways of playing it?

Is my way really that bad?

It's a problem/leak/spew in poker bluffing a hand that has showdown value, and TT on flops such as this has almost equal showdown value to JJ-AA because his hand is most likley defined through the board.

If he has any 7, very many 50NL players do not have the discpline to make this type of laydown even when its clear they are beat.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same
