You have to make him pay more than that to hit, and they WILL call potsize bets. Either way you shouldve raised more pf as well, make it $1 or $1.25 to play, then pot is bigger on flop and you can bet $2-3 on flop and $7 on turn. Your small pf raise minimised the size of the pot. fish mentality
