first of all. Stop playing nl200 and start playing nl10-nl25. Buy in for a full stack. Read some poker books. Play alot. Get rich.

why are you sitting with less than 1/2 buy in? In a rereaised pot (not reraised enough tho!) you hit your set with an A high flop, it doesnt get any better for you. BET BET BET BET BET BET BET! You all but know he has an A, so hes not folding if you bet. That way your all in on the river wont look so obvious cause the pot will be bigger.

yeah it's step by step. I did the mistake of starting playing poker at high stakes too, sometimes a bit higher than this.

You just can't do that, it's an illusion that you are running better at NL 200. You have to learn the online poker basics, you need to read alot of stuff and play a lot of hands with a comfortable bankroll, using at the very least 20+ buy ins to play a certain stake.

Here your mistakes are pretty simple and easy. First of all you minraise pre flop with the second best NL Texas hold 'em poker hand. Care to explain why? You don't know? You need to make your opponent PAY to see a flop because you are very strong right now. You need to raise at least 3 to 4 time his bet pre flop with such a good hand. If you minraise you price him in, he can't fold even with such a poor hand. If he is going to call your all in with a pair of aces on the river, why wouldn't he on the flop? bet that flop, there is a flush and a straight draw, make him pay for it if he does have them by betting a bit less than the pot. When you raise someone don't minraise, raise at least 3x.

ok i got it. ill go read some books. i usually go in with 60 or 75 in 1/2. my br is way too low for it i know, but i hate playing in .10/.25 since no one ever folds once the flop hits, they're like: "what does a 50cent raise do?" lol

if you minraise at NL 25 or NL 200 it doesn't make any difference because most people play a stake they can afford playing. And it's good that you got it already because it took me months and a shitload of money to lose before i decided to start actually listening to people.

yeah thanks for the advice. to be honest with u i really cant afford to play these stakes at all. Your insights are a big help. I know playing like the way I do it doesnt give me consistency in the long term position.
