Jim   Sweden. Nov 29 2005 15:25. Posts 11 I think it was a very marginal defense. Your equity vs a 40 ATB is 35% so you are good should you be able to see every card to the river. Now imo you wont realise this equity so the defense is bad. Please enlighten me. And ignore these idiots.

I look at defending this way: I hit 1 out of 3 times, and I think its +ev to hit the flop with a hand like J3, even though I might not always win the pot. And since I only have to put like 1 fifth to the pot, I get a call. Would have folded had I known he had a pair higher than 22 though
