Oly   United Kingdom. Dec 16 2009 15:49. Posts 3585 A bit above my limit, but I think bet/foldiing the turn is better for three reasons. Firstly you get to the river for the same expense as check/calling. Secondly it is going to be much easier to play the river with the betting lead; I personally would check/fold on the river. And thirdly you can get two value streets from an ace whereas you might only get one since bet/check/bet is a really ugly line here imo. Also, I don't think getting bluffraised on the turn after leading a 5handed flop is very likely at all; so by betting the turn you allow yourself to play all streets near perfect. edit: god, considering your range I think if he raised the turn with TJ it's horrible, he shoulda flatted imo.
