Any advice for this hand? I didn't know what to do. I'm turning my hand into a bluff here by 4betting, cuz I don't think I can ever call a shove. I don't want to play 10s OOP here because I don't think the 3better is light, even though UTG min-raised. On most flops, I would be really scared to get it in. |

if you don't think he is 3betting light you can just fold and not worry about it
you can avoid spots you dunno how to play at nl2 and still make money |

Well I don't think he's 3betting light but I'm including 5s+, KJ+ in his range, AJ+. So I'm still ahead of most of his range, so it's probably too weak to fold, but it's just really hard to play a flop on. I'm just scared of the reverse implied odds. I guess I could call then c/c most streets or try to play pot control. |

if they are both regs folding here is fine. the key being ones an utg raiser and someones 3betting an utg raiser. youre basically either flipping or crushed like 90% of the time and you are out of position.
this is nl2 though so i have no idea.
also this is a horrible bluff spot without some kinda of read. just fold. |

any non retarded 3betting range here is way way way tighter. most like jj+ AQ+ and thats a semi lose range. lots of people flat call AQ or jj there because the original raiser is utg. if someones 3betting the utg raiser and they have like 55 or kj and aj in their range they are super retardedly 3betting way to much and you should be snap getting it in there with TT.but i HIGHLY doubt that is his range. |

utg minraising does change things
but i don't think ppl are 3betting 55 here. maybe like 99+ and broadways |

Well the only reason I'm putting his range that wide is because it is 2NL. I think most people most people read all min-raises as weak, and treat it more like a limper, AKA dead money, so a wide range is somewhat reasonable, if they realize how strong their raise looks. Of course with that logic I argued that I should be calling, not raising. Does my logic make sense there? Thanks for the help btw I appreciate it a lot, even if it seems like I'm trying to argue against what you're saying. |
