1. what are you talking about terren? you will be in bad shape IF he bets again on a K, J, 9, 8, club, or ace only. that's 21 cards out of 47 left, so less than 50% of the deck.
2. no matter what the turn card is, most unknowns in these games won't even follow through on the turn if they were bluffing or semibluffing the flop, because when it's a bad card, they put YOU on the completed draw and just check/fold, and when it's a good card, they just check hoping to see the river for free so that they won't have to bluff off their whole stack
if you are SURE he's a really aggro/fearless reg, i agree w just getting it in on the flop, but in general i think that's a pretty terrible plan. in the absence of reads in nl100, it's probably best to call flop and fold to a big turn bet (on any card), shove over a small turn bet (on safe cards - e.g. not this one) |
