Do you sometimes 4bet 43o and then fold e.g. 53o? Because you shouldn't.
Its always better to bluff with the top of the range you are not willing to call with |

Even if it is a good 4bet in regards to the gameflow, it will virtually never make up for the difference in equity between e.g K5s and 43o |

I think timing is way more important than my hand in a spot where my opponent is raising or folding the wast majority of the time, if I had seen him call 4bets previously I wouldnt 4bet this hand.
edit: this player was multitabling so he's most likely a regular, the majority of regulars dont ever call 4bets and even the ones that do dont call that often, say on average Im getting called in this spot 5% of the time. the difference in equity between 34o and K5s those 5% of the time compared with how much more likely I think he is to fold at this precise moment rather than the next time I get dealt the top of my raise/folding range is negligible in my opinion. |

Eh? In a heads up dynamic timing your re-raises is also extremely important. The cards you decide to do it with are second to your opponents tendencies. |

Agreed with that 100% edzwoo, just saying that the 4bet has to work much lower % of the time with better hands (pos. with a blocker) if there is a possibility of him ever calling.
Guess nothing indicated there was prior to the hand, but I guess you can imagine its hard not to be results oriented from my perspective |

The other thing that has to be considered is you often won't expect to have your 4bet called, but either 5bet or folded, so you won't often be seeing a flop, and it's likely you're not calling a jam with a hand like K5. |
