This is such a stupid hand. My initial thought was to raise flop since he donk led into me, but I talked myself out of it. I think it would've been useless anyway since he hit top pair and he probably wouldn't lay it down either way. Thoughts?

if you raise the flop your goal shouldnt be to make him lay it down...you have TPTK, you should want a call.

In a results-oriented roundabout way of thinking, in this hand in particular I wanted him to lay it down on the flop. His lead into me was kind of curious, but I assumed he had a suited KQ or something...turns out I was effectively right.

when you put it that way it sounds horrible lol... he could have a lot of one pair kings in his range, so you should raise

thats a really bad way of thinking lol....you shouldnt want him to lay it down on the flop just bcuz he ended up hitting a flush.
