Ive noticed in a lot of HH you post that it seems common in FR to barrel the turn with set after the FD hits. Is this standard in fr? Seems very uncommon in SH. Is that because ranges in FR are more limited to AA/KK and your set hopes for PP w/ draw? |

Now I really am a busto. Thanks FTP. | |

i guess it really depends alot on the player, some think u'd ship the flop with FD so they dont give you credit for the flush when it hits
or some just dont give a fuck and hope you have like AA with Ah or they're like "oh i got 10 outs on the turn, bet/call if he has a flush fk it" |

most ppl would be raising 18%-30% from the cutoff unopened.
also i think flop C/R ranges tend to be pretty polarized, ppl either do it with a set or a missed set/overcards (draws are less common since most FR regs dont flat heaps of suited aces or connectors oop)
also i think its rare most players would c/r here with TT JJ for example on this flop instead of C/Cing.
having said that... if i had 33 in this situation i think flatting is possibly the best option, since it lets him keep firing with his air, and his true value range has you smoked anyway. and if 33 was in my range, then i guess bet calling with 88 for him isn't too bad, since i can possibly also show up with AA KK with a heart.
so i dont think his play is that bad, i mean exhilarate is one crazy dude, he could have anything here |
