I wouldn't isolate with A4 unless you can absolutely outplay them postflop.

i guess its ok if you can play alot of hands but it has severe reverse implied odds issues.

ah well i guess vs most 50/0/1.0 you can play any 2cards and half pot for a cbet on the flop, take it down and be profitable.

unless they are the type of player to peel with 1 overcard. One thing is though that almost all passive fish value top pair/ace extremely high and fold a lot more than they should on ace high boards. Same with paired boards....when they should actually be making very loose peels on paired boards but they do the opposite. Fish have the mentality of being scared by monster hands.

meaning that on an ace high board against a passive fish Your going to either taking it down with a cbet when you pair an ace, or you'll be 3 barreling and facing a range of aces that will be slightly ahead of yours due to kicker problems. It's not a bad situation but not exactly a good one either.

I like to isolate with A8 and higher against 50/0/1 fish.
