Posts 3848 22/19 i led river because i thought i would get owend by AK here alot, so it's a partial blocker bet but also to get value from AJ and maybe possibly (although very unlikely other suited Ax) his river value shoving range is exclusively A9s T9s and TT's. I don't think he even shoves AT. i never thought of him as a bluffy player, but he was bumping alot of pots against him, so i finally called him down. don't really know what i'm asking here but any comments would be nice. i thought most of the time i would be beat here in a vacuum but like i stated he seemed to be taking alot of pots away from me

Posts 1429 id bet more on river because you are essentially repping a missed draw and it looks perfectly natural that you try to buy the pot with a big bet (and while now we know that its pretty awesome to leave him enough for a bluffraise on river I don't think you really did counted on that with betsizing). I think that most likely result is that you get snapped by a pair and in those cases you want max value. so yeah, looks fine at least knowing the results.   Last edit: 03/03/2010 17:32
