I see people take this turn c/r line a lot and I've never understood why. Why do you want to c/r here instead of betting? |

The balance you achieve that no one cares about by taking this line does not make up for the value you miss when villain checks behind in the long run. The 9 is also a good card to barrel so you should be excited to barrel here rather than check if you're playing an aggressive postflop game. |

do not balance unless you are going to have lots of history with villains and you will play them a lot, play the most +EV face up way and profits will follow. |
