villain is 17/14/8% 3bet from small blind over 100 hands sooo is there a better way to play this? should I fold river?

I'd rather just bet the turn to avoid situations like this. Even though his missed overcards only have 6 outs, there are 12 other cards higher than your nines, which is a 41% chance you're not going to like the river. If he's any good, your hand is face up when you check back the turn, and he knows you'll have a hard time calling a river bet. Then again, if you know he's capable of turning AK or a light 3bet into a bluff here, there are twice as many missed broadway hands than ones with a queen... At any rate it's an interesting spot. |

LOL I BLUFF sounds like a regular, and I'd expect him to c/r his AA KK hands on the turn here as per stackadonk 101 line, You could very credibly have some sort of show down value on this river, infact it looks like you often have a seven or a six or the hand you have at the moment and it looks to me like he's trying to get paid |

I think you should bet on the turn. You are almost certainly ahead here and it's possible that he'll call you with overcards/88/draws. |
