I'm not in love with this spot at all, I call though, mainly as I'm getting 2.6-1 and there is plenty of relatively credible bluff spots, and in reality our hand is at the top of our range.. If I'm beat I expect it to be by KT or 8x... J9 is there but not thinking it is all that likely.

check-minraise for value 8D, king is a total brick but might make him bluff more often, seems like you should be good here more than 38% of the time.

what do you think his range is?
what hands would beat you? count some combos, TT, T8s, 89s, 78, A8, KTs, J9s you'd have to assume he doesn't slowplay 100% of the time so you can remove some of the combos of nutter butter too.

I don't know how often these nl50 players are betting worse hands than mine for value (never infact) so I don't think we can raise

you might be right, have to weight their range; they are always betting like this when they have the nuts, but only betting some % of the bluff combos that get to the river. you might be right and it isn't profitable to call here, even though they get to the river with a ton of junk.
