My 2cents (also the limit I play LOLOLOL)
The 7 doesn't really change anything about the board and if he's calling the flop, then he's going to be calling this turn often. Also, it makes it easier to get your entire stack in by the river. Also, a hand like 66-JJ is just going to check behind here alot...
Might as well get value from 8x and whatever queen could be out there.. |

yeah this particular guy was pretty bluffy which was my main reasoning at the time.
but yeah also he kept forgetting he had the option to fold. |
