if you raise, will he call you with any worse hands or fold any better hands? (prolly not)

if you call because you think you're behind and he's pretty much only minraising, do you think you will get paid off if you hit a boat on the river?

will you be willing to call a smallish river bet from him on the river if you miss the boat? will you fold to a larger one that looks like a value bet?

i'd be asking myself those kinds of questions

ok so he had like $9.81 behind. I don't think it is a high frequency that he has a worse hand than me, but I think if he is bluffing well he's folding to a shove obv, but if he decided to raise some turned 2 pair or slowplayed a set and just doesn't care about the flush, its possible he can raise here and then he is going to have to call it off

if I call I am getting kind of close odds on on boating, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting the last $9 if I boat.. but is it worth the risk of folding river incorrectly vs a 1/3rd pot bet on the river when I brick?

it seems like I should shove but idk, do we 100% consider a random unknown to have a flush here everytime? If so I should play accordingly but idk if that's the case and I want to hear some experienced people's opinions on a random's range on the turn here.. that's why I posted the hand.. it isn't like I'm not thinking about these things.. its a matter of figuring out if I'm putting people on ranges and responding properly to the equities.. After 2 years I do know these basic questions to be asking.. just don't always know the answers

just stick it in, he has a flush then he has a flush

what do you think of this, its a ton of flushes, no worse made hands except for one combo of KQ with a club. I have pretty good equity if he ever doesn't have a flush here.. so I guess its an easy jam until I know he's a sick nit or something.

tbh I would caution against this type of thinking.

people seem to think that the micro stakes are full of droolers nowadays but I've found that there are actually a lot more nits and tag fish, especially at Rush Poker. check calling then check raising turn is a big sign of strength.

It's fine if you wanna shove in this hand, but do that after thinking it through instead of saying oh it's nl25 unknown so just ship. I'm curious too as to which limit this attitude stops at. nl50? nl100? I'm also wonder when was the last time some high limit players played in the micro stakes.

well I think its a good shove without reads no matter what after looking at it in pokerstove.. if he is pretty much ever dicking around with a worse hand than ours, our equity is immediately like 50% vs him

but anyway I do understand what you're talking about, that's why I still post hands and try to find logically find a solution (or get the opinion of more experienced or observant posters)
