i dunno, i might be retarded - but i raise and fold to any more aggression.
you really think villain just smashed his flush/2p? and depending on his tightness, think they float much at this limit? or that he slowplayed queens, jacks or kings? c'mon
i dunno. depending on your style of play and how you deal with variance is basically the deciding factors in this hand |

raise is pretty bad
i usually just call turn and c/f river though folding turn might be better iono |

i'm curious why you think a raise is bad? definitely gets him to fold like 85%+ hands that don't contain an ace.. protects also from mp/gk hands, and well. fuck him for his ~1/3 pot raise
if he raises - slam dunk fold. if he calls.. proceed extremely cautiously (basically c/f river)
maybe i just play too aggressively, i dunno. generally makes decisions much easier when it comes down to it however |

i couldn't put him on a range here, i thought he could maybe have king of diamonds and was making a weird sort of block bet.
Turned out he had A6, an i of course folded to the river shove. |

if we raise, we fold out everything we beat most of the time. we don't really need protection from middle pair crap |

well i guess i was wrong in this particular spot.
but, a raise on the turn would definitely have made every other decision much easier... which generally means profitable, stress-free situations.
i dunno. i sometimes get fucked up by sets when i hold tptk, but i also much more often destroy other people with draws and tpgk. like i said, all a matter of style and dealing with variance
fwiw: someone who plays a6 like that, only strengthens my belief that turn raises are good here |

i strongly disagree. look at the board
then again, whatever. i'm no tom dwan, but i do pretty decently with how i play... maybe i should start raising less? ...... nahhh |

fish make weird "value bets" and "blocking bets" all the time, i'd call the turn. |
|
The only hands a nit balances in his range are the nuts, the second nuts, and the third nuts. | |

i agree with calling turn since he bets so small, and folding river if he bets again. he might show up with all sorts of pair + fd like Kd9 on the turn and check river if he misses |

my apologies to vls. i took it the wrong way.
regardless, i still like a raise on the turn. can't automatically assume villain hit flush/ace on turn.
again, sorry |

folding turn seems fine, him leading this turn, don't see why villain is not going to bluff a million rivers. calling puts us in a really akward river spot.
I think this villain needs some describin' : ) |
