I just didn't want someone with single heart to stick around and so on the turn i thought very much about checking but figured i was supposed to bet it... I would really appreciate help - cause this was 10th hand into my third run at 50NL/PL Every bloody time i take a shot this shit happens....

Notwithstanding that, I think your check on the end was good and you lost close to the minimum. I don't think I would have played it differently at all. Just one of those hands.
